The Millin Charity provides enterprise-based support for women who are considering self-employment, have a business idea they would like to develop or are running a business. We do this by providing a range of specialist programmes that include accredited enterprise training courses, specialist enterprise workshops, one-to-one business advice, trading opportunities and confidence building sessions. We also hold inspirational sessions where local women who have their own businesses come and share their journey of self-employment with other women.
We hold Enterprise Guidance Appointments to give participants the opportunity to meet with Kirsty, The Millin Charity’s Community Development Worker & Advisor, or Millin’s Business Advisor, Janet Cresswell, to have a chat about the support that they may need. The advisor will then provide advice and guidance and give further information about specialist services running within The Millin Charity and locally that will help them to develop their enterprise ideas further.
