About Laura Dawson
With over 10 years of experience in building her own businesses both running bricks and mortar stores and online digital offerings Laura has won several awards including Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2010 at age 20 when she launched her first business a Dog Boutique Store in the North East, whilst still studying for a Business Management degree at the University of Sunderland which she obtained a First Class Honours.
Moving from bricks and mortar to solely eCommerce, Laura has built and grown a handful of her own eCommerce start-ups and continues to help support others in their eCommerce ventures.
Subsequently, she has grown her own platforms to a social following of over 50,000 and her lifestyle publication Elle Blonde boasts over 500,000 views annually.
She has worked with brands such as Audi, Selfridges, Old el Paso, Qatar Tourism Board, Caesars Resorts and many more.
Alongside this Laura is co-founder of DOFFS. alongside her fintech accelerator growth business partner, this is the UK’s first marketing consultancy on subscription.
She is currently overseeing TEDCO’s Digital Track programme, where she coaches businesses in the North East on how to successfully leverage their digital marketing efforts for scalable growth.
